We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy online. This document outlines how we gather your Personal Information, what we do with it, and how we protect it.

In general, our Privacy Policy can be summarized as follows: We only gather information for four purposes:
1) to email you a newsletter
2) to provide products and services you explicitly ask to receive
3) to streamline your experience on our site
4) to conduct statistical research that helps us discover which products and services would likely offer the most benefits to you

We collect information about your transactions with us, including information about your use of products that we offer. We automatically receive and record information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.

We do not sell or distribute your Personal Information in any way.

“Personal Information” is defined as any information you enter about yourself on our site. We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, or respond to a survey. When you register, we ask for information such as your name and email address. For some products and services, we might also ask for additional information. When you register with us and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

We do not sell or distribute any of your individual personal information to other companies or vendors. We may use or provide partners with Aggregate Information from the information provided by all users, but we will never do so in a way that would compromise your individual privacy.

Aggregate Information

“Aggregate Information” is defined as any information that we gather about all users and is used for the purpose of performing statistical analysis. To collect aggregate information, we may use a cookie (see “Cookies” below) to identify each user with a unique, randomly assigned code that is not related to your personal information in any way. This cookie allows you to remain anonymous on our site, while allowing us to measure which products and services are the most likely to benefit you. We do not share these cookies with our partners or vendors.

Cookies

In order to enhance your visit with personalized services, we make use of cookie technology. A cookie is a small file that is assigned to a user when they register on a website. We use cookies as described above under “Aggregate Information”. Furthermore, when you register on our site, we may use a cookie to streamline your login experience. Cookies that contain your login information may contain personally identifiable information such as your login name. We encrypt this information before storing it in a cookie. Any cookies that contain personally identifiable information are deleted when you close your browser window.

IP Address

IP addresses are unique to each computer, and they are used to identify senders and receivers of information over the Internet. We use your computer’s IP address to administer our website and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. We never release individual user information.

Encryption and SSL

We are very protective of your personal information, so we encrypt anything that could be considered personally identifiable. While encryption is never a guarantee for protection, we make it extremely difficult that someone other than us would ever be able to read your information. We encrypt data stored on your computer (see “Cookies” above) as well as data stored on our servers.

Furthermore, we encrypt personally identifiable data that is transmitted between you and us (in either direction). We use industry standard Secure Socket Layer technology, or SSL (also known as HTTPS) to accomplish this secure transmission. Most browsers display a lock symbol indicating that you are on a secure page, which is your indication that the page you are on is secure. Because encryption does take more time to process, we limit using SSL to only those pages in which you are transferring otherwise unencrypted information (such as login screens or credit card entry screens).

Security

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All credit card and payment transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. In fact, your credit card information is never received by our servers and only on the gateway provider’s system.

Disclosure

We and our subsidiaries will not disclose any of your personal information, except when we have your permission or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

Your Rights in the EU

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us at [email protected].

Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you make an order through the site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States.
